• What is the difference between the Légère collection and the Marie-Sophie Dion collection?

  Same workshop, same acetate, same craftsmanship. The Légère collection uses thinner acetate and more refined shapes for a lighter feel. Prices are slightly lower, ranging from $450 to $590, compared with $450 to $650.

• Is a lightweight frame more comfortable?

  Not necessarily. Comfort depends mainly on how the weight is distributed between the nose and ears, as well as the quality of the fit. A lightweight frame that is poorly adjusted can be less comfortable than a heavier frame that is well balanced.

• Are these frames suitable for progressive lenses?

  Yes, for most models, as long as the lens height is sufficient. Very slim shapes can limit the intermediate vision zone. Our opticians check compatibility before the order is placed.

• Are they made in Quebec?

  Yes, in our workshop, like the rest of the Marie-Sophie Dion collection. The acetate sheets are imported from Italy.
